Leave Ordinary Nigerians to vent their frustration. Karma is a bitch o. Next EndSARS can start in front of you or your relatives houses. Because you are benefiting doesnt mean you should rub your apparent ignorance in their faces. What is the cost of living and the GDP per capita and the level of infrastructural devt in the country that he's eyeing? All you know is to borrow. Kindly borrow some sense, thanks.

Don't be stupid..... In USA you are paid minimum of $20 per hour for menial jobs, You have 24/7 electricity

Even when price of PMS in USA/UK/Canada or other developed countries is expensive do you need to buy fuel to run your generator?

Bus Fare is almost free for a distance of 2-4 KM with ticket incentives

Owing in a car in USA is almost useless because train, Mass Transit Bus system is working effectively with all routes covered, can you say same here in Nigeria?

Just because you are paid N30,000 monthly by your paymasters does not give you the capacity to lose your senses to humanity and reality on ground... So GTFOOH!!!

If you don't have anything meaningful to say just keep shut. What is the minimum wage of these countries you're comparing Nigeria to and what's the minimum wage here in Nigeria. Aren't you aware that most graduates earn less than 50k a month. And you're here vomiting rubbish. Better respect yourself here and don't let me lay a course on you and your descendants

I have told you to shut the fucck up and u still dey yarn crap abi? Now those countries where the price of fuel is higher than ours do we have the social amenities they do? Take for example a country like India, with a population six times more than ours, their citizens enjoy much much better social securities than us.
Ok,go to India and bet if you'll not run back to Nigeria in six months!

How were we able to buy petrol at less than #100 when the price of crude oil per barrel was high then?

Even at N183 per litre,it's still the cheapest in the world.

The problem is that Nigerians like free-things!

Kingrefreshed says he wants to travel out of this country with his family.Have you found out the price of PMS in the country you're running to?

They're coming again in 2023 including yahaya bello (who doesn't even deserve a councilorship position in any sane country), with their sweet, fake promises. Accept them and face whatever comes your way thereafter. Our mumu neva do?

For the first time in my entire life, I was scammed by politicians under the APC in 2015. The below really got me...

Robust Healthcare for Nigerians and discouraging politicians from seeking medical treatment abroad

Employment for 3m Nigerians in the first 3 years.

Funding of research and education

Total removal of subsidy and using the proceeds from same to build roads, infrastructure with images shown to us in 3D on national TV

Ending boko haram war in 3 years because buhari is a man of war and had done something similar as Borno State Governor back in the days when the Maitasins invaded Borno and he sent them packing.

My people , na who dem go sell all these to, wey no think say naija messiah don come?

None of the above has been achieved so far. Even the preceeding administration's projects were being funded with Chinese loan by the APC, instead of using part of the subsidy they removed to do so, to fulfil one of the purposes of removing subsidy.

It takes only a fool to believe this. Anyone who believes this is not worth to be alive. At least if you don't read history about the past you must have heard of it from people. You can never give what you don't have

Ur comment doesn't make sense...it clear that with the rise in crude oil .fuel price should be 183 naira now...so Baba introduced subsidies back.l to stabilise it at 160 ..u still dey complain...if he left the market to flow it self..will u be happy to buy fuel for 183 naira
Dinirojones:
This government is moving back and forth. No clear economic policy, just experimentations. The implication of this lack of firmness on the lives of already strangulated poor does not matter.

Secondly..if we begin to produce fuel locally the story won't change....if crude oil price rise respect the fuel price to rises too... except u still want government to subsidize it by paying dangote billions to stabilise the price...the only thing local production will do is to greatly save Forex...it won't guarantee a price reduction because.fuel price has a standard fix price that is influenced by crude oil price...Even the minister of finance confirmed this
medokills:
Which kind of madness is this, why can't we produce local fuel consumption in this country.

The government is not scared to remove subsidies, the government don't just know how to do right things, the government wants to continue to subsidise corruption, large nos of those fuels would find their way to other African countries.
Since 2015, No single refineries is working, no new one is added, is it a crime if we refine our local consumption, why is government only interested in money money, and not cared about people.

Removing subsides means that marketers are now free to raise prices to as high as 200-300 naira per liter....which means trbule poltically...but beenfits economcially after some time...INCLUDING THOSE corrupt people you are rightly bashing.

Plus it means it now becomes more profitable to refine fuel at home...instead of importing it.

GEJ treid it. Raised prices from N65 to N140. He got protests and was forced to cut it to N97.

At the end of the day, Buhari, and APC don't want to lose power...so they keep subsides at the expense of the economy

Where he is running to, how many times do you need to buy fuel? It's not as if he will be needing fuel everyday to fuel generator, the public transportation system is top notch so you don't even need to drive your car around much if you have one so what will he be desperate to buy fuel for?
A very reasonable perspective. I get your point.

As long as the refineries are not working, you will continue to have subsidy. Unless you want people to buy at N590 per liter and if you do that , expect the unexpected
