2021 ARM FORCES REMEMBERANCE DAY.
DCN FESTUS OSAIGBOVO REITERATES, THERE'S NO NATION BUILDING WITHOUT HEROIC SACRIFICE.

AS his excellency the executive governor of Edo state honors our fallen heroes during this years historic annual Armed Forces Remembrance day, the director General Edo LIASON office Abuja Dcn Festus Osagie Osaigbovo has re-empahsised the need for CITIZENS commitment to nation building without recourse to immediate gains .

While reacting to the address of his excellency Governor GODWIN OBASEKI on this year's occasion of the armed forces rememberance day, he said there is enormous need for all Edo indigenes and citizens of our great country Nigeria to be devoted and committed to the principle and philosophy of Rev Dr. Martin Luther King Jnr. Alluding to his words when he said " think not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your country " . He stated that this was the spirit of our fallen Heroes in whose honor we are gathered today when they put their lifes on the line to savage the peace and unity which we absolutely enjoy till date.

He said we should emulate our past and fallen HEROES in whatever we do to Making Edo Great Again and put our country first as that is the hallmark of true nationalists.

He however prayed for the continued repose of the souls of the departed heroes in the bossom of the Lord and pleaded that we all shun actions capable of putting the labours of our heroes past in vain.
