No region in Nigeria is being littered daily with the corpses of innocent people like the north. The most worrisome is how Nigerian soldiers die. No reasonable person will doubt that north has weakened the morale of Nigerian army by raising multi-front wars- boko haram, banditry, Fulani herdsmen and many others. People are now scared of joining Nigerian army due to fear of attacks and sabotage.
In all this, the question is why is insecurity in the north growing every day? The north that occupies the major security positions in Nigeria and other top political posts should show honesty, integrity and save human lives. Nothing fuels insecurity like corruption, frivolity and wealth rascality. Whenever insecurity refuses to go, the first suspects should be the people at the helm of affair. If insecurity eventually becomes a business in the north as it appears to be, no one will survive it. Let's work together to end what will end us.
