Highlights
On the 16th of January 2021, 1598 new confirmed cases and 7 deaths were recorded in Nigeria
Till date, 108943 cases have been confirmed, 85367 cases have been discharged and 1420 deaths have been recorded in 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory
The 1598 new cases are reported from 24 states- Lagos (461), FCT (206), Plateau (197), Rivers (168), Kaduna (116), Anambra (53), Ogun (49), Ebonyi (47), Edo (42), Sokoto (32), Imo (31), Katsina (31), Oyo (30), Akwa Ibom (27), Delta (16), Kano (16), Abia (15), Niger (15), Ondo (11), Bayelsa (10), Borno (9), Kebbi (cool, Ekiti (7), and Jigawa (1)
A multi-sectoral national emergency operations centre (EOC), activated at Level 3, continues to coordinate the national response activities

when lagos High the volume, the number goes up, when they reduce, the number goes down.
i think it' is High time to lorkdown some States to safe others.

when lagos increas their volume, the nomber goes up, when they reduce, the number goes down.
i think it's time to lorkdown some States to safe others.

Nimc are the reason behind increase of the number of the virus,you cannot implement registering in this period of time,and inec too are part of this,those organization need to be looking into,they kill person pass bandit or boko Haram in the Northeast,if the family of those behind byforce registration dead of virus,they won't encourage to continue the process by now,useless fellow of bad selfish egg

There are a number of people who have Covid19 who are self-isolating and treating themselves at home. They only go to isolation centres when they are in need of more extensive treatment. This stats is way lower than the actual. I just got to know of a lady friend who had it and was treated in a mini-hospital that doesn't send records to NCDC. Stay safe people.
