A group of fans and supporters are campaigning for Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to contest as President in 2023 presidential election.

In a video published on social media by founder of Ovation Magazine, Chief Dele Momodu, Nigerians across the country urged the number two man to contest in 2023.

The video sponsored by Peace and Humanitarian Support for Youth Development Foundation described the Vice President as a visionary leader.

“Prof Yemi Osinbajo will create an environment for peace, unity and progress towards nation building with a robust economy and infrastructural development,” the two minute, 47 seconds long video said.

The clarion call for Prof. Osinbajo to contest in 2023 was kicked off by Samuel Iku Akubaka. He said, “This is a clarion call, Nigerians are calling on Prof. Yemi Osinbajo in order to pilot the affairs of this country come 2023 and to also continue the good work he has done over the years. There is this saying that the voice of the people is the voice of God.”

Read this thread https://www.nairaland.com/6368055/buhari-osinbajo-spend-3.4-billion

Despite hunger, poverty and declining purchasing power of Nigerians, Buhari and Osinbajo have been spending billions on food yearly. They have been borrowing and spending recklessly to the detriment of the poor masses. The same Osinbajo that does not believe in restructuring? You guys must be joking

Hehehe! Everyone is being called upon to run for president. From even the "tatatata" governor, to Atiku, Tinubu, Kayode Fayemi and now VP Osinbajo. Why are they no declaring their intent but having surrogates testing the political waters for them?

Meanwhile, nobody among these old brigade of politicians should be interested for any elective position except there is total economic, political or structural/ geographical restructuring of this failed contraption of a nation.

It's not about old or new face, it is about who is capable. Three months of Osinbajo as the acting president is enough to believe him.

I have watched the video before now and I love it and will want Osinbajo to contest in 2023. But, for now, they should allow him focus on his VP activities to avoid distraction.
