I was at the 2011 Atlanta Autoshow last weekend and took some interesting pics new trends in the Auto industry.

My first stop was at the GM test drive section.I should have driven the 2011 Camaro SS, couldn't wait for the long line so I'll go do that this weekend

Took a test drive in the Chevy Volt and the Buick Enclave. Buick was ~$42k but ride was great. Volt was the perfect daily driver

My first shot was the Bluedevil; Corvette ZR1, then the Z06

Then the Ford section with GT500,and Edge.

Those big engines had me drooling.

Ford also had the Taurus, new explorer and a turbodiesel 6 cylinder F-250

The F-250's hood was packed, although I don't know much about diesel engines, I'm puzzled there is no timming chain everything is driven by gears.

Here ia a normal 3.5L V6 EcoBoost to the Dielsel engine
Notice the timming chain around the cam and crank, then the gears in diesel engine

It seems that Chevrolet shows it all in the 2011 Atlanta Auto show.But recently Chevy had a disgusting news that shocked the public.A Chevy Volt recently caught fire while in storage for several weeks after getting used in federal crash checks. A safety investigation is presently underway into fire hazards possibly posed by the Volt. The problem likely concerns the batteries and other electric automobiles are being looked at also.
