How infertility in women is detected.

According to a medical source, about 10-30% of couples in Nigeria are affected by infertility issues. This highlights the need for a doctor's check up and a variety tests such as blood tests, laparoscopy, Chlamydia test, x-rays and most importantly, ultrasound scan.

One of the most crucial scan is known as transvaginal or endovaginal ultrasound (as shown in the appended pix).

This is a type of pelvic ultrasound used by doctors to examine female reproductive organs. This includes the uterus, fallopian tubes, ovaries, cervix, and vagina.

It is to assess abnormal pelvic or abdominal exam, unexplained vaginal bleeding, pelvic pain
an ectopic pregnancy, infertility, a check for cysts or uterine Fibroids and verification that an IUD is placed properly.

At Reformer Diagnostics we are glad to inform you that we have equipment to perform transvaginal scan with precise results.
