The smartphone display accompanies a 6.8 inches Dynamic AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and 1440 pixels X 3200 pixels resolution. The phone comes with model Versions: SM-G998B, SM-G998B/DS (International); SM-G998U (USA); SM-G998U1 (USA unlocked); SM-G998W (Canada); SM-G998N (Korea) and SM-G9980 (China).

The smartphone also comes with Android 11. It is however powered by a Li-Po 5000 mAh non-removable battery.
