YOUTH EMPOWERMENT: MISS BAYELSA 2021 WINNER ENCOURAGES YOUTHS TO ACQUIRE SKILLS FOR SELF-RELIANCE



The winner of Miss Bayelsa 2020/21, Queen Ghandi Biobemoye Beatrice has encouraged youths in Bayelsa State to acquire skills that will help them become self reliant and financially independent.

Queen Beatrce gave the charge in a meeting with a Bayelsan who is a professional cinematographer in the Nigerian Movie industry Nolllywood, Mr Rico Ziwari at the popular Nostalgea Cinema Etegwe, Yenagoa Bayelsa state.

According to the beauty queen, the movie industry is viable avenue for youths to develop their talents and skills encouraging them to be more passionate noting that several Bayelsans are making us proud in Nollywood.

Miss Bayelsa advised more Bayelsans to go into the movie industry to utilize the opportunity they have now to get more training in this sector stressing that with determination, we can make the glory of all lands the hub of the Movie industry with hard-works and creating the necessary synergy with the Government we can work it out.

The Beauty Queen, who was Face of Bayelsa 2019/2020 from Brass local Government Area before winning the prestigious title urged other youths to emulate the film maker, Mr Rico Ziwari as cinematographer because he is doing so well in making Bayelsa state proud.

Mr Rico Ziwari was astonished meeting the current Miss Bayelsa winner, in his response promised to carry more youths along in the area of cinematography by training them using his wealth of experience.

The cinematographer advised movie producers to identify with the Association of Movie Producers of Nigeria, AMP which Bayelsa state has a chapter to be guided and even the cinematographers guilde is also there to every intending members to get involved.
