There's this gorgeous girl I met in uni who's throwing herself at me, I am attracted to her and would want to date but I'm not sure if now is the right time. If I go ahead to date her will my academic performance be affected? By the way I'm currently in my first year and have no cash to spend on any girl. Pls I need advice/positive criticism from serious-minded and experienced individuals

I'm neither experienced or whatever but it all depends on what u want. I'll say if d girl is intelligent nd brilliant, u can go into being friends. Remember, it's not until u toast a girl dat u can talk nd interact wit her. If she's not intelligent, limit yr interactions wit her otherwise, u will get wat u did not bargain 4. btw, wat's yr course and hers. But whatever d case might be, keeping d thing at 'friendship' level is what I'll advice u to do. When u've built yr g.p in 1st nd 2nd year, u can do what u want in subsequent years. Takia

Apologies to the poster but u r obviously still inexperienced in matters outsdie ur books.
First things first, If u like her, date her or do u wanna date ur books? Dating her will help u learn important virtues like time management nd how to handle the opposite sex
Well, its good 2 aim 1st class nd position 1 @ all times but if u retain ur ALL OR NONE mentality den u'l excell in acaddemics but be a total slowpoke in things outside academics so learn 2 balance d activities in ur life, Study bt hv a good tym
As 4 money, its not just naija girls, Most girls are attracted 2 money, But not all. If u think money is d way 2 get a girl 2 hold onto u den uv got it all wrong! She'll dump u wen she sees a richer guy nd there will always be, Money is a weapon with which u create attraction, not retain it, D little money u hv, take good care of urself wt it, Dts wt creates attraction u can use 2 ur own advantage.

Good Boi:

There's this gorgeous girl I met in uni who's throwing herself at me, I am attracted to her and would want to date but I'm not sure if now is the right time. If I go ahead to date her will my academic performance be affected? ('1st position' has been my identity, 'B' is like failure to me and I'm aiming for first class). By the way I'm currently in my first year and have no cash to spend on any girl. Pls I need advice/positive criticism from serious-minded and experienced individuals
Dating her does not stop you from paying attention to your books! Opportunity comes but once oh, if u like her better grab her! Lol
