Tiga said the late chairman drove himself to Bebeji General Hospital for medical attention before he gave up the ghost.

He said Namadi’s funeral prayers will take place in Bebeji, his hometown, on Tuesday morning.

The APC won all the 44 chairmanship and 484 councillorship seats at the local government polls in Kano, defeating 11 other political parties which took part in the election.
