Pple should have a little sense
Exchange rate is not smiling. Why do u think Nigerian used prices have gone up.
Seller has d right to quote his price, buyer has the right to refuse to buy.
Stay ur lane if u r not intune with economic realities.

Simple Cal
At a minimum shipping and clearing na almost 1m
What is the cost of purchase/storage/transport to port.

Some dealers are Switching to Naija used now sef cos of that.

I have a proposition for you two.

SensualMan1 should buy vehicles cheaply abroad (or you don't have access to funds grin); then Doyenro can pay customs duty in Nigeria to sell cheaply (but you scared Doyenro will use all the money on olosho grin). Give it a trial so both of you can be positively engaged.

Land transportation to Port and shipping of this particular vehicle from Texas is $1350, multiply by N465 is N627,750, Customs duty Grimaldi is N480,000. That's N1,107,750 already without adding cost of the clean title vehicle, some contingency costs (fixing scratches and pilfered parts by port rats).

@DelTel Im disappointed in you. You could have just ignored them or better still, reiterate the current exchange rate that has affected the cost of cars. Don't soil your good reputation fighting with hoodlums.

at this point it's safe to suspend all car importations, the exchange rate is moving mad. Infact the cars at the dearships is more than enough let's buy those ones first

Unfortunately there ain't enough at dealership to buy as vehicles are scarce right now, especially good ones.
