Kamala Harris has been sworn in as VP, becoming the first woman in American history, likewise the first woman in African American and south Asian descent to hold the post. Harris’ inauguration denotes a significant crossroads in American history. Women have run on presidential positions as well as VPs yet until Joe Biden’s success, none of those tickets were triumphant.
