Nobody forced them to join the military. I shed no tears for anyone in the military. Christians are not endangered species in the military, they are part of the rot and malfeasance that the military has been to Nigeria. The last two Chief of Army Staffs before Buratai are Christians.
Don't talk if you don't know what to say.

The terrorism in the north is an Islamic jihad by Muslim North.

An attack against Boko Haram (an islamic terror group) was considered attack on north.

There is no way a christian army chief can do anything, if he tries too much he would be assassinated like Alex badeh

Bandits or boko haram..? There was a thread here that is talking about boko haram regrouping and setting up base in nasarawa state...all these people branded as bandit are nothing other than boko haram...they just want to change the narrative.. chikena...!!

Exactly ! They are all so called repentant Boko Haram's that the government pardoned , fed for months with bottle water, had chicken as their daily protein with enough monthly allowance in the name of rehabilitation and later sent into states as now qualified citizens and forgiven of all sins !!!!

After they massacred millions of innocent children , they were rewarded by strategically being given 100% opportunities into all our Armed forces , paramilitary and even the priveledge of studying abroad!!!

Just tell me where are we going to start as a country When it's clearly obvious that our government supports Boko Haram ? And that is why you see all these factions of them coming up in the name of Bandits, unknown gun men, Fulani herdsmen etc . They are all Boko Haram and nothing else .

They rewarded these men for all the atrocities they committed and yet our soldiers wives are all widows with their children being helpless and roaming the streets for daily breads and even wounded soldiers are all abandoned in different military hospitals with no atom of care or whatsoever for them while the ones who destroyed our nation are being rehabilitated and celebrated !

No country has even shown mercy to terrorists cuz if you do , it will encourage others to do more and later claim they have repented ! This is the cause of our predicament !

Soldiers who were lucky to return to their units alife are psychologically broken , so many are mentally unstable due to what they saw and the effect of the war on them but rather to rehabilitate these men who gave their all to this nation, they are rehabilitating the ones who did their all to destroy it!

What does that tell us Nigerians ? What does it tell us

I'll sanction the Brigade Commander. How will you send just 14 soldiers, then send 100 for a rescue?

I'll be curious to know if anything was stopping him from sending the 100 in the first place. At least these deaths could and should have been avoidable.

If it was Udi or Oyingbo, you will see military might.

But it is Nassarawa, there will be no consequences.

Fight against BH is fight against the North.

What the Bleep are Buhari's brothers turning Nigeria to for God sake.

No where is safe.
If they fail to do something one day this thing will get to someone in Buhari's cabinet and it is very soon.

This is so heartbreaking

They know what they are doing.
Remember we are just in 2021 and still have 2022-23 to overcome.

Just imaging what will remain of us by end of 2023.

You don't go searching for kidnappers in the bush. You first identify where the kidnappers terrorists are hiding. Then use your sniper to be bringing them down one after the order. That is how seal team do.

May your gentle soul rest in perfect peace, Felix Kura. He's a very gentle and simple, easy going man. Unemployment made you join this force. We were both teaching after NYSC, before you choose to join the force, not willingly.
May God be with the woman you left behind and family.
Continue to rest at the bosom of the Lord.

Damn.... So just 14soldiers were drafted to the operation while over 100 was sent for a search party?? How did the bandit got to know military was on their trail and how come they had a good and accurate Ambush formation with no reported casualty on the Bandit side??

How many soldiers do we have to keep loosing daily bfr some courageous ones in the Army rise to say Enough? tf like we aint even fighting a civil war yet and the number of avoidable military deaths keeps increasing unchecked. The military top officers has really failed Nigerians and their comrades ik how they feel, afterall more n more people keep applying every year. smh

The army will keep recruiting more people.
