The rate of corruption and embezzlement of public funds in this country surprises me. Even the so called family has the power to sued the federal government in order to have the money back.

Just imagine... like it's their property.

This is just Abacaha o. Can you imagine Babangida's that isn't evidenced and all other heads of state and president, directors, perm secs, Governors, etc. Our leaders have stolen away the future of Nigeria and are expecting the youths to perform miracle, blackmailing the youths that they haven't created an enabling environment for.
What a shame

[quote author=Dizzyrascal post=98346982]The audacity of the Abacha family to request for the looted funds is the only surprise here really. If they were as a family privy to theft, shouldn't they all be rotting away in jail by now?

Anybody who stole the Commonwealth of this nation should be in prison not fighting to retrieve such funds.[/quote
]
The exact reason corruption is thriving in Nigeria.... Imagine the audacity of the family, trying to gain access to stolen funds

E for good , this money once recovered would be put into something better. Awusa go just day wait money, once money come na to find the next Tight toto. After them marry that one keep for house, them go steal another one, for another Amariya.

I really find it very hard to understand the kind of animals ruling this country.

Abacha still sending us credit alerts after his demise in '94.

The level of corruption in Nigeria is on a global scale and it needs to be studied, I wonder how we got into this mess in the first place.

Same Abacha Mr. Integrity told us he was not corrupt.
Those associating buhari name with the word integrity, do not know the meaning of integrity.

They even have the guts to ask the courts to unfreeze stolen wealth..
Nigeria is gone.

This is why I am surprised too. Are they not aware that the money is stolen. Maybe they are just trying their luck knowing fully well that anything can happen under Buhari

Nigerian generals are thieves.

Shagari was removed by the generals just for those generals to steal the country dry.

Remember, it was abacha that announced the coup on 1st of January 1984.
