The reappointment of m.d of Npa for another 5 years based on the nepotic orientation of Nigeria president and system is among reason why Nigeria state is impossible of Making any progress ...the Poorly manage Nigeria ports that has failed to control traffice smoothly in and out of of the port is now reward by another 5 year of what ? The cost of shipping a container from China to Lagos is the same with the cost of transport from port to ware houses within Lagos...the cost moved from 70k to 700k within the last 4 year of bring back our Girl lead management .....why is such sensitive revenue based agency not put to the open ....let Kpmg recruit the best hand ...

If this position must be progressively filled and efficiency and revenue is the key word then this vacancy must be published globally for us to get the best hand for the job who might not even be a Nigerian whom.might bring in the global best practise in port management and Adminstration

The Nigeria state as the recruiter will set bench mark to be achieved by the new m.d example revenue must moved from the traditional 250 bn remitted annually to 500bn Nigeria....how can a 200 million people import dependent Nation can make a billion dollars ....the new m.d probably a south Korean with expirence in port management with be task with cleaning the port trucking systems and the revenue target if not meet will be fired .....

It very difficult physiologically living in Nigeria where abnormality is norm a norm...i wonder why persons with poor critical thinking abilities are leading the Nation....but am sure the well educated governor that nominated her knew the right thing to do because he used the same strategy to bring in several tax consultant irrespective of your tribe or religion to help improved IGR of his state...but when the oppurtunity to replicate same in Nation via NPA something else happen ...Nepotism...
