The Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has dissolved the Abia State Executive Council, IgbereTV reports.

The governor has also recalled his suspended Chief of Staff, Dr. ACB Agbazuere.

A statement made available to IgbereTV on Saturday morning by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Sir Onyebuchi Ememanka, reads:

"The Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has approved the immediate dissolution of the State Executive Council.

All those affected by this dissolution are to handover all government properties in their possession, together with their handover notes, to their respective Permanent Secretaries.

The Governor expresses his deep appreciation to these men and women for their services to the people of Abia State, and wishes them well for the future.

The Governor has also approved the recall from suspension of his Chief of Staff, Dr. ACB Agbazuere. This recall takes immediate effect."

Not surprised, the suspension was just to calm the situation then.

The people behind the suspension of the CoS are members of the dissolved Cabinet.

Obviously, the CoS got a strong hand hence he was boasting.

sacked the COS after all the online noise that was calling for his head and reappointed him after all the noises are calm..
moral- people have short memories and no matter the trends come n go..
am even sure the COS was gettin paid when he was on Sacked or on leave..

Abia politics is evil. That COS was never sacked, in fact he is one of the evil hands holding the state. A man that served as Commissioner of info under T.A Orji the former governor, this men have been in the game long before Ikpeazu who is just a puppet ..... little wonder the abia speaker is the first son of the former governor too.... The only good APC will do for me is taken abia state from PdP, thank God more powers r joining abia APC from Kalu to Oga to Otti ....we need libration in abia.

That's his business. Wether he dissolves or solidifies, it doesn't change the fact that Abia state needs total overhaul.
