In our Modern Political dispensation, there has been so much talks on Leadership and why people show philanthropic gestures. People may think it's done by certain persons for perceived interests but never want to care about the benefits of what they get. There are people who do things out of love and willingness to make things better without interest.

The good people of Abiokunla ward2 in Orhionmwon Local Government has suffered so much neglect by the Government due to bad representation by those who are sent to represent their interests. Greed has made alot of representatives to leave their various constituencies in the dark.

Orhionmwon Local Government and Abiokunla ward in particular has suffered so much darkness, neglect and absence of Government. We had people we term as Leaders but they pocket the resources given to cater for the needs of their people. While some successful sons and daughters don't render community services.

Dcn Festus Osaigbovo the Director General of the Edo Liaison Office Abuja is not an elected representative but a civil servant cum entrepreneur and now a Director General of Edo house, Abuja. He saw the state of his Local Government and Abiokunla ward in particular and felt the need to contribute his hard earned resources in ameliorating the suffering of his people. He started by building a home in his hometown OZA and visits constantly to cater for the needs of his people and not just his people in OZA but other neighboring communities and some other parts of the state in various Local Governments.

Presently Abiokunla ward who suffered power supply for a long period is now on the verge of enjoying good power supply due to the philanthropic gesture and result oriented nature of Dcn Festus Osaigbovo.

Dcn Festus Osaigbovo has set a pace for others as we humbly place a call to other well meaning and successful sons and daughters of Orhionmwon to come home and do same gestures to ameliorate the suffering of their people.

Rural development shouldn't just be a Government project but a task for you and I to make our communities Modern cities. Thanks to the Uncommon Leader, Dcn Festus Osaigbovo for setting a pace for others to follow. Together we will surely Make Edo Great Again inline with Governor Godwin Obaseki agenda.
