Sunday Igboho and Fulani Quit Notice are currently causing serious trouble in the Yorubaland of Oyo State, south-west Nigeria.



Violence erupted in Igangan, Ibarapa North Local Government Area of Oyo State after the Yoruba freedom fighter and activist, Sunday Igboho and his supporters invaded the Fulani Settlement.

This comes after the Yoruba freedom ‘fighter’ had issued a 7-day ultimatum to the Fulani people to leave the town because of the claims that they were the ones responsible for the killing and kidnapping in the Oyo communities.

Who is Sunday Igboho?
Sunday Igboho is a popular Yoruba activist whose real name is Chief Sunday Adeniyi Adeyemo.

Reports revealed that he grew up in Modakeke area of Osun State (South-west region) but his hometown is still Igboho in Oyo State.

While growing up in Modakeke, Mr Sunday Igboho took a mechanic work there.


He became popular during the regime of Former Oyo State Governor, Rashidi Ladoja who later got impeached despite supporting him.
