In the course of finding solutions to problems in Nigeria we create other problems.
The major problem in Nigeria is that our political system is set up in such a way that bright people can't make it to the top. Go and check our LGA wards, and you will see that it's illiterates and touts that are calling the shots. I dare say that there hasn't been any liberal, intelligent and really progressive political leader at any level in Nigeria since the past 15years.
A good case study is Amotekun creation. There have been few good news coming out about this band. I as a common citizen with sense, knows that to form such units, you need at least make them undergo 2 years of intensive training. What stops the southwest government from recruiting graduates? Instead, everything has become transactional; it's touts and illiterates that's being recruited.
Is there any charter guiding this unit? Has any law been formulated, specifying their scope of activities and job description? They are just let loose to work with there discretion. And what has formed this discretion? It's 'the street' not school!
I predict that these Amotekun bands will become another problem instead of solution.

Beware Nigerians. This is the time to know and understand the true identity of those who cause tribalism on here, they are paid agents, they are neither from east or west, some are not Nigerian. They have more than twenty monikers, they would create tribal related topics and make tribal comments with different monikers to cause chaos between southerners. Though, they have no conscience but you can try to educate them or better ignore them. They are easy to identify, use your head brothers.
They dominate this platform. They are evil and restless until their aim is achieved.
