A prominent Kano State indigene and former Minister of Agriculture, Alhaji Alfa Wali is dead.
Wali also served as Permanent Secretary in many ministries, including the Ministry of Defence.

President Muhammadu Buhari expressed his condolence in a statement on Monday. He commiserated with the family and urged them to take comfort in the legacy of kindness he left behind.

Buhari also condoled with the government and people of Kano State. The Nigerian leader prayed that God will remember his good works and grant his soul eternal rest..
