Nigeria Should Leave Igbos Alone. by valinno(m): 10:58am On Jan 26, 2021
Some of the time I wonder what has become of our Armed Forces. North- East has been battling the menace of Boko Haram and the terrorists seem to be multiplying in great numbers every day. North-West battles Banditry. Upon all these, you have taken it a task worth your time looking for an Eastern Security Network that is not disturbing anyone in the East or anywhere else in Nigeria.

Terrorism can't thrive in Igboland. It's not possible. We have a different thinking about religion, economy and education. They won't terrorize us. We'll not allow that. They'll not trespass the geography of the South East with their discreet operations. They are in the forests protecting our farmers and their crops against your murderous Northern cattle rearers.

We should all know that Nigeria is facing serious division and this is caused by many factors. The Constitution of Nigeria is faulty. A section of the country feel they own it more than the other sections. Buhari led Government came and worsened matters. The agitations had been there earlier, but the coming to power by the present Government exacerbated it by 70%.

Anyone who's happy with how things happen in Nigeria is simply the reason behind the pockets of agitations going on. The people of the South East have been very mild with their own agitations. Someone from the South West by the name, Sunday Igboho threatened brimstone to the Government and the entire North, attempting it practically, but no one has arrested him. Yoruba people have crowned him a hero of security. He has now been appointed the Marshall of the Amotekun, a local security outfit floated by the South- West and accorded a recognition corresponding with that of the conventional security formations in the country. The military has not gone there to shoot.

The hatred on the Igbo people is becoming more apparent than it has ever been in the annals of the marriage of the northern and southern protectorates of the Niger Areas. Amotekun has been operating on equal measures with the Army, Police and Civil Defence put together, but Nigeria has not gone slitting their throats. Nigeria is only strong at where Ndigbo are. The nonviolent Igbo people. The Nigeria Government is fast forcing the intellectual citizens of the Igbo Nation to join hands to agitate the evils meted out to the Nation. And we'll be left with no other option than to do so.

The North-East needs the firepower of the Nigerian Army to protect lives and property there. The North -West as well. We don't have security problem in the South East apart from the Northern herders who have been on a mission to annihilate us, but which the Eastern Security Network has come to address. Eastern Security Network is to the South-East what the Amotekun is to the South- West. Hisbah, Northern Nigerian local security outfit has been terrorising the economy of Nigerians there, but the Government hasn't critiqued their nefarious activities.

Since our Governors in the South- East are beggarly and afraid of replicating the bold steps the South- West has taken and authoritatively maintaining it, we should be left alone to manage the Eastern Security Network. They're our brothers and sisters, they are not terrorists like the Hisbah. Leave them for us since you have refused to restructure the country. Stop using the military to terrorize the South -East. The South- East is over militarized. What have we done wrong in Nigeria?

If the Federal Government under the watch of President Muhammad Buhari is tired of condoning the peaceful South -East people, please, allow us to go! Allow us have Biafra. When we get Biafra, we'll teach you how to make a country work in Africa. Stop labelling our peaceful people terrorists. We'll not take it anymore. We're first Igbo people before our erroneous conscription into the geographical expression we currently are. Take your military to your war prone zones. We are peaceful here.

Enough is enough!

It's now fire for fire, let's see how to goes.

The army all over southeast should call their colleagues to order because what's about to happen will shake the whole country.

War isn't going to be declared in our land but they will be taken out one at a time if they refuse to stop terrorising our people.
