Manchester City has agreed to sell Eric Garcia to Barcelona for EUR 3 million and, according to presidential candidate Victor Font, the player can play for free for six months due to the financial difficulties the club is facing. Over the past year, Garcia has been strongly linked with a move to Camp Nou, and earlier this month he had reached personal terms with Barca. Until joining City in 2017, the 20-year-old started his career at the famed La Masia Academy in Catalunya, but his new contract at Etihad Stadium is set to expire in the summer.
