This is meant to get us thinking:

1. They started by taking their cows into people's farms, getting the cows to eat the crops and grow bigger, thereby making more money.

2. Then they discovered that they could make quicker money from robbing travellers on the highway using the weapons they have amassed to fight farmers.

3. From robbery they discovered that they could get much more money from kidnapping the victims and demanding for ransom rather than just robbing them of their possessions on the spot. This is the current stage of their crime evolution.

Now here is the most scary part if things continue like this. What if one way or the other Fulani herdsmen discover that they can make more money from butchering their victims and selling their vital organs rather than demanding for ransom?
What if it's something else that requires killing the vicitms that will get them more money that whatever ransom they can possibly collect?

We need to put an end to this once and for all
