Is possible that she is yet to grab driving skills well but from the pix, it is obvious that the other driver is at fault. Hitting someone from behind with that for e while there is a traffic light just ahead of her is evidence that the other driver was on speed level that shows no regard for the traffic light ahead.
The only way she can be responsible for this force hit from behind is, if she was driving unconscious of the traffic light ahead and the light suddenly change from yellow to green, then it just occurred to her that one has to stop when the light turned into certain color but at that sudden moment, she couldn't recall that one only has to stop when the light turned red. In which case, the person behind, who was conscious of the traffic lights, their colors and meanings, saw no reason to slow down his/her speed since the light changed(to green) in their favour.
