akermas ENERGY LIMITED IS LOOKING FOR SENIOR/PRINCIPAL FLOW ASSURANCE ENGINEER

JOB SUMMARY
The role played by flow assurance engineers in a project not only includes providing predictions, but also prevention strategies, and remediation methods in the case that the occurrence of solids deposition blocks a pipeline and jeopardizes production. Flow assurance engineers are also responsible for providing the prediction and interpretation of the fluid characteristics, the flow hydraulics and thermal behaviors, the performance of the production system, and the guidance of operation strategies.


RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensures completion of safe and operable design in accordance with company and project requirements, relevant laws, regulations and codes.
• Reviews job scope and provides input to estimates and schedules,
• Liaises with other disciplines for applicable engineering interfaces.
• Develops engineering solutions to specific project requirements.
• Performs simulation of selected cases as defined by Project.
• Undertakes calculations in accordance with company and project quality requirements.
• Performs checking of flow assurance calculations and reports.
• Contributes to flow assurance strategies, philosophies and procedures
• Participates in engineering co-ordination meetings.
• Participates in Project presentations to communicate results.
• Reviews all data requested by Client
• Participates in safety and design review meetings, where necessary.
• Prepares regular progress and status reports as required by Client, Project Manager and team leader.
• Participates in company global flow assurance team knowledge sharing initiatives
