HIRING – Assistant Farm Manager (Livestock and Crop Production)
Location: Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria
 
Our client is an indigenous Agricultural Company that operates an integrated farm specializing in Livestock production, Crop production and Aquaculture.
 
The role will work closely with the Farm Manager to oversee daily production across the different farm units.
 
Responsibilities:
Planning and organizing production schedules.
Assessing project and resource requirements
Negotiating budgets and time lines with clients and farm manager
Ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
Overseeing production processes
Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
 
Requirements:
First degree in Agriculture Science or Engineering with specialization in Livestock Production, Crop Production and/or Aquaculture
3 years’ experience in operations of an integrated farm
Must have adequate practical knowledge of livestock, aquaculture and crop production.
Strong problem solving and decision-making skills
