OkCornel: Good day everyone, and in particular to those who are of the opinion that the 66 books of the bible is free from any inconsistencies or errors.
Please I need some clarity on the fate of Saul's daughter. Did she die barren, or did she have children? (Patiently awaiting smart fellows to pull out the child adoption gimmick with zero evidence to back it up )
SAUL'S DAUGHTER DIED BARREN 2 Samuel 6 v 23; Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no child unto the day of her death.
SAUL'S DAUGHTER HAD FIVE CHILDREN 2 Samuel 21 v 8; But the king took the two sons of Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, whom she bare unto Saul, Armoni and Mephibosheth; and the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul, whom she brought up for Adriel the son of Barzillai the Meholathite:
Please bible scholars, help clarify further on this. Thanks.
And that reminds me, can we say the Pastors/Preachers who claim Saul's daughter was the only woman in the bible to die barren are right or wrong? I think your quoted scripture gives you the answer 2 Samuel 21 v 8;But the king took the two sons of Rizpah the daughter of Aiah, whom she bare unto Saul, Armoni and Mephibosheth; and the five sons of Michal the daughter of Saul, whom she brought up for Adriel the son of Barzillai the Meholathite:It seems Michal raised up another woman's children for Adriel (because she had none of her own) probably on the death of the woman (the scripture is silent on why) BTW: Michael is NOT the only barren woman in the scripture but she is the only NAMED barren woman. 1 Like 1 Share |

Micheal is an angel Michael is Saul's daughters name Saul's younger daughter's name is Michal, not Michael, an archangel name and neither a barren woman 1 Like 1 Share |
