The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 676 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 131,918. Twenty-one new deaths were recorded while there were 1286 recoveries. Lagos State is reported to have topped the list. The 676 new cases are reported from 19 states - Lagos (227), Rivers (73), Niger (69), Plateau (56), FCT (50), Kano (44), Oyo (43), Ogun (27), Gombe (18), Ondo (15), Enugu (10), Osun (10), Cross River (  , Edo (, Nasarawa (7), Bauchi (4), Kaduna (3), Ekiti (2), and Zamfara (2).The breakdown of the NCDC tweet shows that the 676 cases were from 19 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with a total of 227 cases. Rivers State followed with 73 cases while Niger State had 69 cases. Find the breakdown in the picture below.
