EFCC arrests Vice Chancellor over alleged contract scam The don was accused of fraudulently obtaining the sum of N260 million from a contractor, Shehu Sambo, to facilitate a contract. NEWS AGENCY OF NIGERIA • FEBRUARY 1, 2021 EFCC EFCC Officials used to illustrate the story Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have taken in the Vice Chancellor, Federal University Gusau, Prof. Magaji Garba, for questioning over an alleged N260 million contract scam. News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that a competent source at the anti-graft agency disclosed the arrest on Monday. The university administrator was still being held at the commission’s headquarters in Abuja as at the time of filling this report.
