Plant-based Pizza And Regular Pizza- What's The Difference? by bakarispizza: 6:24am On Feb 03, 2021
Everyone loves pizza. Given the demand, restaurants and eateries are coming up with new flavors, crust, and toppings now and then. While enjoying those new variants, we forget about the health issues associated with them. Depending upon the amount of cheese, type of crust, and toppings you have taken on your pizza, it can be anywhere from a nutritional dish to a diet disaster. However, plant-based pizza in this category ensures you eat healthy while your cravings are fully satisfied. But how is plant-based pizza better, or what's the difference between a plant-based and regular pizza?
There are a lot of differences between vegan food and regular food. One of the biggest ones is the usage of meat. In addition to this, the Pizzas vary in terms of the ingredients used for toppings, crust, etc. Check out the difference between them here.

Toppings

When it comes to toppings on a regular pizza, one can enjoy choosing a number of vegetables, meat, and cheese. But for plant-based pizza, one has to choose from fresh vegetables, vegan meat, and cheese options. Every topping placed on a plant-based pizza comes from a plant and is in no way associated with animals.
Again, the toppings like sausages, pepperoni, or cheese on regular pizza greatly boost saturated fat, calories, and sodium. Simultaneously, plant-based pizza toppings are a lot healthier and come with lower saturated fat, sodium count, and calories.
Further, regular pizza has got animal meat in them, while for plant-based pizza, you have the option to choose vegan meat that comes from leading companies like Beyond Meat and Impossible Food. This means no need to compromise on taste while enjoying your favorite pizza as a vegan.

Crust

When talking about a regular pizza crust, they are made from wheat or flour, which can harm health. This is particularly harmful to people on a gluten-free diet. While on the other side, a plant-based pizza crust as an alternative uses products like cauliflower, multigrain, tofu, whole wheat, and other healthier options. Though it might sound a bit weird to try a multigrain or cauliflower pizza crust but trust me, you are going to love it.
Although there are many vegan options available, I personally love Plant-based Ultra Vegan Deluxe. Made from fresh veggies and vegan cheese, the pizza from Bakaris has won over my heart. In fact, most of the time, when I look for vegan food near me, I end up ordering from Bakaris. Both the taste and texture of their vegan food are amazing.

Cheese

For a regular pizza, you have a lot of choices like Mozzarella or other cheese. But when it comes to cheese for a plant-based Pizza, very few restaurants have vegan cheese options. Luckily Bakaris is here to serve you best, ensuring your cravings are fully satisfied.

Order a Plant-based Pizza for Healthy yet Tasty Bite

Given the difference between regular and plant-based pizza, it can be concluded that vegan Pizza is far healthier than regular ones. The best part is one need not have to compromise on taste while choosing healthy options. So, if you are planning to try the healthy option, Bakaris is the perfect spot. From meaty vegan pizza options to veggie pizzas, they have got everything. In fact, I can say they have got the best vegan food in Atlanta that tastes good. So, wait not and visit their website to order the pizza of your choice right away.

I've been vegan for about five years now. It's always difficult for me to find products that don't contain ingredients of animal origin. At the beginning of my vegan journey, I thought that it would be easy, that it's always easy for vegans to find milk, cheese, soap and shampoos, but everything isn't as simple as it seems. Even vegan ketchup isn't sold everywhere. Not everyone knows that not all ketchups are vegan, and eggs and many other animal products are often put in them. And it upsets me. I like to smear pizza dough with ketchup, and then spread vegetables on it and sprinkle with vegan cheese.
