Protesters on Wednesday blocked the streets and the major roads in Uromi, the headquarters of Esan North-East Local Govt Area of Edo State.

The women blocked both sides of the highway, preventing motorists from continuing with their trips.

Our reporter gathered that the women from the town are demanding a stop to rape, kidnap, and killings by the Fulani herders in their farms and bushes.

According to an eyewitness, one of the protesting women was heard saying the only solution is for the authority to ask the Fulani herdsmen to vacate their town and villages.

“We no longer have the confidence to go to our farms anymore, they rape and kill us, they don’t care if you are a married woman, old or young, even if you wear double jeans to the farm they will still rape you and if you resist them they will kill you,” the woman said.

From Ghana,Gambia,Togo, Benin Republic and even here in Nigerian from The East to the West, from the North to the South, a particular tribe is attempting to hold the Whole West African sub region hostage.

This Interesting Meal the Fulanis are cooking for everybody to eat has been met with a resounding silence from those so called Fulani's who ought to know better. But when the people react violently in the same manner like this unprovoked cave men, you begin to hear not all Fulani's are bad, Fulani's are Nigerians etc.

But Very soon, should this shameless macabre continue, The Federal Government will be forced to contend with a way more formidable foe than the Boko Haram when the patience of these indigenous people eventually burns out. But until then, The Fulanis can keep enjoying the bounties of power and Government covering they enjoy to provoke and tunt their hosts.

Meanwhile, no Government no matter how formidable is stronger than it's people. WE Will BEAR WITNESS TO Not Just this Times but The Times to come.
