The Executive Governor of Lagos State, BabaJide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has approved the appointment of Engr. Mrs. Bisoye Coker - Odusote as the Acting General Manager for the Lagos State Infrastructural Maintenance and Regulatory Agency (LASIMRA).

She is taking over from Engr. Funsho Elulade, the former General Manager, who was redeployed to the Lagos State Material Testing Laboratory.

Before her new appointment, Engr. Bisoye Coker - Odusote was the Deputy General Manager of LASIMRA. She had worked as Special Adviser to Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Technology.

Engr. Bisoye Coker - Odusote had also previously worked in the United Kingdom and Nigeria, with 15 years working experience across technology, real estate/construction, oil and gas, finance, media and advertising industries.

She is also the founder of tech-advance initiative, the Bibi Coker Foundation, which gives education grants to women studying STEM related undergraduate degrees, to encourage more women to join the male dominated industry.
