Thank God, we are beginning to get clue to one important question that has been begging for answer since this whole nonsense started.

WHO ARE THEIR SPONSORS?

For the Sheik to get easy access to the territory of the bandits, we need to probe further.
Remember this Sheik is one of the promoters of a certain presidential candidate in 2019.

So kindly explain d correlation between sheikh gumi getting easy access to d territory of bandits and him being "the promoter of a certain presidential candidate in 2019".

Also, if sheik gumi could locate d bandits, y has d govt not been able to do same for d purpose of neutralising them?

Gumi said, “Let there be peace; you all have a legitimate concern and grievances, and I believe that since the Niger Delta armed militants were integrated by the Federal Government and are even in the business of pipelines protection, the Federal Government should immediately look into how something like that will be done to the Fulani to provide them with reasonable means of livelihood including jobs, working capitals, entrepreneurship training, building clinic and schooling.”

Gumi must be an idiot.

So the federal government cannot track down these terrorists and exterminate them?

I have been saying this since like forever.

The plan of the Fulani elite is to overrun the entire Southern Nigeria. It is as clear as day. They do not mind turning Nigeria into a Sudan if it helps them achieve their aims. And they will ultimately get support from the Arab countries to persecute this quest.

If Southern Nigeria does not wake up and be proactive, Southern Nigeria will be swallowed whole and the international community is not going to give a damn. because no whites are affected so why should they care.

I wouldn't have said it better

Yes I know that. And with the commercialisation of the mayhem with ransom kidnapping there's regular ppl who invest the seed money required for weapons and supplies etc. Upturned logic...
Yes, they call this softening the target.

They are just initially breaking up our will and resolve with kidnapping thing before they will bring the main attacke.

As for the wives thing... that's just sad. Too medieval. Barbarism

It's more sordid than I explained. Search google and you would read more mind twisting tale.

(Alert to nairaland: when you type "Janja-weed (without the hyphen as one word)" it modifies to "supporter of APC" after submission. That's weird.)

Hahahaa... U may never know the level which our leaders have compromised on us.

Imagine the owner of this site taking the pains the draw up a program that changes the word Janja-weed, just to evade public suspicion. They are so sinister in their actions

It all happened during the run up to the 2014 election when their Janja-weed styled operation was being exposed.

Maan, we are in bigger mess than we think ooo.

So they know the bandits and where they live, and when the bandits kidnap they pretend as if they don't know where the victims are being kept.

Wetin we no go see for this country!

Unbelievable, what kind of country is this?

Before long, they shall be enlisted in Nigeria armed forces.
They shall be sent to the south to quell one insurrection or the other.

They will specialize in killing civilians, raping civilians, intimidating the elites in the south to shut up. It’s already going on in areas of the south.
The international community shall believe that the soldiers are armed forces of Nigeria, not knowing that they are Jihadists from Nigeria’s Armed Forces.

How many southern Nigerians are still in Nigeria’s armed forces? Fewer than ever.

This will worsen over time. I feel war may now be inevitable in Nigeria!

The Nigeria military is too weak, divided and demotivated to take on herdsmen/bandits. That’s one of the reasons the military response has been patchy and meaningless.

I am deeply fearful for the future of this divided nation.

Worsening. Their types are now plenty in the armed forces.

They are sent to the military formations in the south.

Arewa is prepared: first, Arewa Alhaja Amina Mohammed, was drafted in 2016 to become the United Nations Deputy Secretary General.

If people from South cry to the UN for help, it’s like waste of time.

PMB sees himself as the Othman Danfodio of Arewa in the 21st Century.
Before that 2023, hmmm.

As in ESN hasn't even started yet.

with this pics, ESN should know what they are up against.

They are prepared already, anyday they lose power in Nigeria, they will fight Nigerians to there knees and take over again. This is Taliban kind of terrorist organization, only kind of American force will finish them. ESN will need that kind of weaponry and training to match them bc ESN is our only hope for now. God help his people.

By being prepared, I mean political powers and the politricks involved therein.

Those herdsmen have the political backing of their government, leaders and by extention world powers, but the same can't be said of ESN, who the local government alone doesn't know.

Ok.. simple challenge...

Kanu and ipob are declared terrorists in Nigeria..

shekau and his boys are not declared terrorists in Nigeria..

Let these two travel to America,Britain, and other Western and even Asian countries,..lets hear from these sane climes

You are hearing from Kanu and how many innocent lives have IPOB taken?

Kanu has been arrested and declared wanted severally. His hometown has been invaded.

Now I throw the challenge back to you:
How many times has the other guy being treated this way?
Has the Fulani Herders been declared a terrorist group?

Has the government gone after these herders? Yet they’re considering amnesty for them.

Let’s be honest

I've seen some of these things. Read a few. U know about the Sudanese warlord , Rabeh FadlAllah who conquered large swathes of Chad and Borno ? He set up Dikwa as a capital between 1893 and 1900. Moved it from Kukawa for a bit.

Usually ppl say that the banditry and freestyle violence today, is similar to what he did and others who preceded and followed him. In Adamawa there was Haman yaji, a fulani slaver in the 20s and 30s. I know as late as the 80s kids from the adjacent Cameroonian side in the far north province end up as captives and slaves in Borno etc.

The girl trade thing is sad sad. Too sad. I dont know why. But all the same we go dey alright.

Im fine with Arabo-Islamic high culture. But what they're doing in Naija is trash. Fulanis are not more deserving or Islamic than their victims in Oyo for example. Miyetti Allah making noise everywhere and claiming murders and no one arrests them? Lol.

The other day I was reading the works of Muhammad Bello, son of dan fodio, and wow, the chauvinism is too hard to swallow.

Can Fulanis step up to Kanuri/Kanembu, Tubu, Zaghawa and the Arab tribes in Chad in such a brazen manner ?

Or do this with Malinkes (who are more esteemed in Islamic theological circles btw) in the West ? And in Cameroon, where power is in the center and south, do they make noise ?

The Niger delta amnesty was one of the major mistakes ever made by the FG and Yar Adua was the cause. Obj will never had bow to any amnesty.

No sane society rewards criminals, it was the ND amnesty that made kidnapping a lucrative business, now boko haram need amnesty and likewise bandits and criminals masquerading as fulani herdsmen.

We are in deep shit for rewarding criminality

Nations invest heavily in capabilities. Military, security services, infrastructure. The active cadre of the civil service in progressive nations is manned by the very best and most educated. This ensures strong institutions, regardless of political churn.

In Nigeria, with the likes of Buhari, leadership is cronyism.

Nigeria will likely burn to the ground, before rising as a more viable entity

There's absolutely nothing wrong with such visitation. It's only bares the incompetence of the government. He is doing what the government, military , dss, police are not able too, even the army are scared of going such places. If we have serious government they should use his visit to gather intelligence but nothing will come out of it. The Sheik is a brave man. Better than doing nothing.

So boko haram guys r sunni Muslims.

Taming dem won't be easy as their oga Pataskala is imprisoned. The Shia tend to be more deadly as Iran gives them deadly weapons
