My client is an industry leader for cheque provision and other security printing solutions in Nigeria and has become the preferred supplier of cheques to major banks in Nigeria, Its services cut across the financial, manufacturing, entertainment, education sectors as well as Government agencies in Nigeria and across several African countries. Due to expansion, they are in need of a Production Engineer.



Job Responsibilities:
· Execute scheduled preventive maintenance

· Promptly attend to faults reported by the production team and ensure minimum turnaround time for the repair activities.

· Maintain track of each problem to enable the establishment of the root cause analysis.

· Monitor the consumption and track the stock levels of spares and consumables for each machine.

· Assist the machine operators on all possible aspects to achieve the target output.

· Train the machine operators.

· Fine-tune the machines from time to time and always ensure that the machines are tuned appropriately to achieve the targeted output

· Assist in the implementation of the process.

· Maintain appropriate records and documentation for all the engineering and maintenance activities.

· Ensure the smooth handover of maintenance activities from one shift to the other

Job Requirements:

· 5 years of electrical engineering experience on production machines

· Ability to be creative and have a positive can-do attitude.

· Ability to document units and procedures.

· Advanced skills in MS Office.

· Knowledge of all essential equipment and ability to oversee and schedule regular maintenance.

· Analytical skills to monitor production output and check for compliance with specifications.
