In 2015, the Yorubas had 2 options:
(1). To vote for Goodluck Jonathan
(2). To vote for Muhammad Buhari.
They chose the latter. Their reason was because GEJ was from a minority group in the South South of the country. They also accused GEJ of running an omo-ibo government & they protested against his gov. using the hashtag #OccupyNigeria with all their politicians, religious leaders, obas, entertainers, wole soyinka etc.
6 years down the line Nigeria has been littered with Fulani terrorists from Chad, Mali, Niger republic especially in the South West killing their men, raping their wives & claiming their ancestral lands.
Where are the #OccupyNigeria folks? Where is Tinubu? where is Tunde Bakare? where is wole soyinka? where is Jide Kosoko? where is that useless Oba who threatened people to vote for Buhari or be thrown into the lagoon?
The day we Nigerians stop choosing our leaders based on tribal and religious sentiments is the day we'll start experiencing a better Nigeria.
Chai!!!

There is no day Nigeria will become better. The only solution for the inhabitants of this forbidden place is dissolution. About the South West, It is better for them to have a taste of the medicine they wanted. I am not empathetic or sympathetic to the wooes of zombies. They can cry me a river!

We will always be here to counter ur lies, yoruba people voted for Jonathan in 2011, how did he repay us? He ignored us and called our elders rascals, Jonathan betrayed yoruba people so, if u r looking for who to blame, blame Jonathan himself and stop disgracing urself
How is Bihari paying you people now Killing, raping, maiming, kidnapping and grabbing your land.
Your son the VP is so with his position that a media aid is more powerful than he is. You all made a huge mistake due to myopic thinking. GEJ is not a bad leader but people he surrounds himself with. He would have undue that but you people collaborated with the people that are now tormenting you to vote him out. Chaiiii what a life. What an irony

Affirmatively. I remembered how they trooped out to the streets of Lagos protesting against the then government in power. Sadly, all the names you mentioned have gone mute and suddenly lost their voices.

Kanu: In this life, if you support evil, evil will come back to you.

Kanu's assertion further explains the untold woes and agony of Yorubas in the hands of marauding Fulani herdsmen recently which can't be redeemed without a brutal resistance.

Keep gloating as if it is only South West that is having issues with Fulani

GEJ was incompetent and a joke of a leader. The real issue was the Yoruba political class creating APC with Buhari as the head. Buhari should have never been in the discussion as the next president of Nigeria.

U are very right man.
This is as a result of their clannishness, when your greed and selfishness shows in favouring a candidate because of religious or ethnic affiliation.

OBJ ruled for 8years. No qualms.
And just because GEJ did not pick someone from the SW they did not like it.
The major reason they voted for PMB,was that Osibanjo is their son, then after PMB in their mind,it will be giving to The drug baron Tinibu.
That is how narrow minded they can think, now they are all over the place, like the boy who cried wolf, shouting "herdsmen " are killing and raping our women.
When the minorities in the North where throwing warnings, everyone though we where stupid.
Now the SW is having a share of their shortsightedness.
Next time? Be wise!!

If I get your write-up, you are blaming Yoruba for voting for their choice against your wish.

You claimed they don't vote for Jonathan because of the region he's from?, And when do you become the mouth piece for the Yoruba's ?

And when do you have the meeting with the Yoruba's whereby they told you such words?

You can choice to vote for who ever suit you irespective of the region, but your believes.

Must they vote for Jonathan simply because you have trust in him and that he's from your region, when others don't see any reason for such?

I think you should try and grow up then trying to create irrelevant post.

Personally I don't vote for Jonathan and still don't regret it as during his tenure Nigeria witness lots of economy meltdown, and lots of more.... and that's why people voted him out, so why writing beautiful nonsense? Or are you saying he was a good man as I don't really get your point, and why you wrote this in the first place.

Obviously, what the man is saying is that it takes lack of hindsight for anyone, especially Yoruba who should have known the antecedence of a supremacist Fulani to vote him. This is especially considering that Yoruba has been at the receiving end of Fulani conquest. It is lack of foresight this time that despite the looming danger, that Yoruba's response to the oncoming calamity is at best frenetic. Everyone has to face the fact that calamity is upon every non-Fulani ethnic group in this country and to a large extent, you two big ethnic groups in the south have a huge role to play in forestalling it. However, what we have witnessed so far is an irresolute Yoruba. Obviously because they still are groping at the straw of an elusive 2023 due to the belief that this is their government. Face the fact that if the status quo is maintained, 2023 would be too far, enough timeline for Fulani agenda to materialize.

They should divide Nigeria, let them separate northern Nigeria from the south, we are not the same.

The earlier the better, any other tribe that likes northerners, should follow them, so we can move forward.
Nigeria would have been better than this if we were separated, northerners are agent of backwardness, they don't want us to grow, they use the nation money to rebuild North, which bokoharam destroys, one man marries 10 wives, gives birth to 50 children, then send them to alamajiris, they grow up and becomes bokoharam and fulani herdsmen to terrorise Nigerians.

Please separate north from South so we can rest in this Nigeria
