NEWS Update: Any ‎Bandit Arrested in Kaduna State, Will Be killed. Gov. El-Rufai!


Governor of Kaduna State, Malam Nasir El-Rufai has described ongoing peace moves initiated by renowned Islamic scholar, Sheikh Ahmad Gumi, with some bandits operating in the North-West of Nigeria as a waste of time.


Governor El-Rufai posited that it will be difficult for bandits who were previously in the business of selling cows for N100, 000 to dump their arms because of the millions they rake in as ransom from kidnap victims.

The Governor, who made the assertion on Monday while speaking on BBC Hausa Service,said the northern region need to tackle insecurity and criminality headon and not negotiate with bandits.

The right thing to say is that any bandit caught will face capital punishment by law.
