Dear All,

I am writing with total disappointment at NECO. Normally it takes two to three weeks at most after every NECO SSCE marking excercise for the little marking fee to be paid. But the reverse is the case in the last NECO SSCE of 2020. Up until now majority are yet to receive their stippend, especially those banking with GTB, UBA, FIRST BANK etc. only a few examiners operating with FCMB have been paid just last week. This is very disheartening as the current style of piecemeal payment is not helping matters. And of course amount that has been budgeted for why should it take long to pay and be paid in piecemeal.

We therefore call on all and sundry to prevail on NECO Chairman and the FG to release our little stippend of examiners marking fee for 2020 NECO SSCE marking excercise with immediate effect to alleviate the suffering of poor examiners during the excercise and the financial expenses incurred during the excercise. Thanks
