This is what characterizes all countries in the world but it is more visible, more endemic and more prevalent in developing countries like Nigeria. ENDSARS protesters hit the streets protesting for the end of police brutality but instead of being heard and their concerns being addressed they were shot at as though they were criminals - the weak is always guilty. Sunday Igboho armed with insane charms pursued a section of Nigerians believed to be causing mayhem in Yoruba land. Orders were given for his arrest but till today he walks a free man and he claims 1 billion Fulani or police men can stop him - the powerful are always innocent until an even more powerful person shows up.

What power does the poor have other than their numbers. I can easily guess that there are more than 100 million Nigerians earning less than #250,000 in a year and provided you are in this category you are poor, weak and ofcourse always guilty. You have no human rights and you are always a victim of the system. You work for the powerful. You are a slave to the powerful.

But when 100 million Nigerians unite amazing things can happen. If each of the 100 million Nigerians contribute just 10 naira to a communal wealth fund we would have raised enough money to campaign for a person who would a slave to the people and not the other way around. If 100 million Nigerians march into the streets in a coordinated manner they would overwhelm all the security forces in Nigeria.

The problem here lies in uniting 100 million Nigerians from different ethnicities and cultures. The poor northerner will be bribed with religion. The poor easterner will be bribed by hatred for other ethnicities and their crave for secession. The poor westerner will be bribed by perks from their yoruba overlords and the poor southerner will be bribed by perks from northern oil oligarchs...they will easily be blinded to the fact that the only enemy in Nigeria are the rich political elite (made up of persons from every ethnic extraction in the country).

Who will assemble the poor to the fight the rich political elite? Who? That person is the messiah we seek!
