Tragedy Struck At The Busy Oyigbo Section of Port-Harcourt, As Okada Rider Was Crushed To Death By A Truck. See Pictures

Tragedy struck at the busy Oyigbo section of the Port-Harcourt-Aba Express when a commercial motorcycle rider popularly known as Okada rider was crushed to death by a truck-laden with a containers.

An eye witnesses told compassgist thar the truck driver was on high speed and rammed into the motorcycle rider who wanted to make a turn into the lane of the truck.

Compasgist further gathered that the passenger on the motorcycle who sustained injuries, was rushed to hospital while the truck driver ran away.

A respondent who also spoke with our correspondent said the authorities should take some drastic measures to check the speed limit of drivers on that section of the expressway.
Commutting to and from Oyigbo used to be a nightmare but thanks to the Federal Government, the road is been made a multi- carriage expressway. But this comes with the danger of overspeeding and avoidable accidents."

" The authorities should device a way of checking overspeeding on this road and that is if these reckless drivers will learn and obey," the respondent said
