FIRS Should Start Collecting Taxes From Bandits And Killer Herdsmen by truthfulparrot(m): 3:44pm On Feb 18, 2021
It is a known fact that bandits and killer herdsmen are making millions if not billions of naira from their criminal activities. It is also on record that at least two state governors entered the forests to negotiate and take group photographs with bandits.

We also got report that the minister of defence asked Nigerian to summon courage and stand up to the gunmen wreaking havoc across the country.

Just today, the governor of Zamfara state said that not all bandits who terrorise parts of his state and other neighbouring states are criminals. He even advised the governor of Niger state to reach out to the bandits in his state and negotiate with them.

This is how shameless our leaders can be! They don't care about us because their children are schooling in expensive schools outside the country. Our governors and ministers go about with armed security personnel for their protection. Who will protect ordinary Nigerians?

Maybe the governors of Zamfara state is speaking the minds of other governors when he said not all bandits are criminals. Maybe in the dictionary of our leaders, there is another definition for banditry.

When our leaders finish smoking the wild weeds, they should not forget to instruct the FIRS to start collecting taxes from bandits!

N:B My sincere sympathy to the parents of the pupil who was killed by the heartless bandits in Niger state. I pray that the Almighty God protect the pupils that are still in the custody of the bandits.
