I woke up this morning to see my roof covered in snow and my doormat filled with snow.... surprisingly it only snowed in my building in asaba Delta State

The remarkable weather effect may probably be due to the planet restoration/healing resulting from reduction in green houses emissions from 2020 Global lockdown and shutdown arising from covid 19.

In Port Harcourt this is the second day and I’m loving it. Once I open my windows the room cools down immediately. Them no born heat well.

Really? Who taught you geography in school? Harmattan is caused by the North East trade winds that blow towards the equator from across the Sahara desert where the wind lose most of its moisture, and as a result the wind get cooler (because evaporative loss of water causes cooling). It is that cool wind that then blow across countries like Nigeria that lie south of the Sahara. So, leave Texas weather out of it, though both are effects of the expected distorted weather conditions due to climate change.

That is why I said it is PART of the ice-cold wind that is blowing across the world.

The one in Texas may not be called hamathan, but together with the one in Nigeria,it is part of the global wind that is blowing.

That north east trade wind is not separated from the global ice-cold wind.

They are all one.

In 2003 or 2004 hereabout i witnessed harmattan in April in Benin city. In 2003 i witnessed harmattan in October. So is not strange to me. In fact it is strange to me not seeing hatmattan in March/ April.

It's wheat harvest time... The forks in the North decided to pray and do more secrifice for more harmattan to yield good results for the harvest. The harmattan in kaduna is something else.
