Grow the league to enable clubs prosper, they won't. Nothing good ever seems to take root in Nigeria. The NPFL was once on Supersports (where the bulk of sports fans are today) but they couldn't maintain that exposure and publicity that wil have attracted investment rather what we see today are the Zambian and Ethiopian leagues prospering.

Why should a Nigerian Premiership club not be able to fly their team cross country, feed and house them in decent digs. It is shameful for a country of this size, resources and so called exposure and competency concerning the only sport it loves. Big shame.

Nigeria police has less than 2 billion dollars to police 211million people. Meanwhile, New York city has 10 billion dollars to police 25 million people.

We complain about the police all day. We also complain that criminals can't be stopped. We (rightly) blame Buhari. But at the same time, if the police had the funds to fight crime effectively, and to improve training methods, none of this would have happened.

We live in a myth that we are a rich country. Our budget for this year is 26billion, less than the 100billion SA has. We are not earning enough from oil, and we are really a broke nation.

Yet, increase taxes, end subsides, get our economy off oil, work towards an industrial economy, put some pressure on our leaders to fight corruption, etc we won't do.
