on Monday,22nd Feb 2020,an unprecedented event rocked Kano city,as commercial tricycle riders, which are the major and to an extent sole commercial means of transportation, within Kano metropolis, embarked on strike.
There have been condemnation, of the Kano state government regulations of excessive tax charges, imposed on all tricyclists, requiring payment of 100 naira daily tax, which was lamented as an extortion, hence the riders resorted to form a United front and embark on strike,in order to reverse the taxing system.

Taxation is part of any economy that hopes to prosper. They are so used to oil money doing everything for them and see a token of N100 as extortion. How much do the they make as profit daily after fuel and daily depreciation estimate of their tricycles?
