Anyone aware of the concept of Karma in African philosophical thought?

Y'know, the idea that whatever you inflict on others will be revisited on you either in this life or in your next reincarnation, in order for you to learn the relevant soul lesson?

It's a pivotal tenet of Indian philosophy.

I wonder where traditional African thought stands on this concept.

Contributions welcome. smiley

Karma is pagan, and holds no grounds.

1. Reincarnation is false teaching.

2. The doctrine of an afterlife is false as well.

I have always thought that Aiyelala is Karma. We need more people to contribute to this.

Yoruba has Esan a ke.

Aiyelala and Esan satisfy the role of Karma.
