You took your narration out of my mouth. U are really a son of the soil. Rochas had so much goodwill and mass appeal that he would have won an election irrespective of d political party. When he finally rode on APGA party platform it further boosted his credentials before a people that desperately wanted to retire 'Ikiri' as Gov Ohakim was known then. Rochas was known as a philanthropist and a huge one at that but it's unfortunate that absolute power intoxicates absolutely he soon forgot his immediate constituents, d poor and d downtrodden, and went on a looting sprey amassing tremendous wealth and properties where as all his infrastructure were substandard such that most of them packed up even before d end of his adminstration
