The arrival of the baby of Adesua Etomi and Bankole Wellington (also known as Banky W) is the latest entertainment gist in Nigeria.



Adesua Etomi and her husband who is an Afrobeat singer took to social media on February 22 to announce their newborn baby boy.

According to the couple, the baby was born four weeks ago but they decided to hide their joy until yesterday when the good news went viral on social media.



Thousands of Nigerians have sent out congratulation messages from different corner to the celebrity couple for the sake of the birth of their long-awaited child named Zaiah.

“My baby had a baby and he is everything we prayed for @adesuaetomi Happy birthday “Mama Zaiah” I love you SCATTER.” Banky W wrote this on his Instagram and Twitter pages.

The singer also added that “God turn tears into triumph and our loss into laughter.



He changed our lives forever, here’s to the next chapter.”

His wife, Adesua replied with a love message and emojis.

Remember Banky W and Adesua Etomi got married in 2017.

Her full name is Tolulope Adesua Etomi and she once said in a tweet dated 2020 that she like how those people who have known her for a long time still call her ‘Tolu’.

Adesua Etomi is a native of Edo State and a graduate with First-Class degree honour in Theatre from the University of Wolverhampton, United Kingdon.

Her passion for acting started as a teenager when she acted for the first time with one drama club in her primary school called Corona situated in Victoria Island.

Adesua Etomi is the last born among three children.

Her father is a Military man while her mother is a Civil Engineer.

Adesua Etomi moved to the United Kingdom when she was 13-year-old and relocated back to Nigeria in 2013.

She actually came back from the United Kingdom due to one project that she wanted to do which was expected to last for a few months.

The actress revealed that many people do not know that she is a funny type.



Her first TV appearance in movie cinemas was on April 14, 2014, when she got a unique role in Emem Isong film, Knocking On Heaven’s Door.

In 2016, Adesua Etomi won the Best Actress in Drama for the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award (AMVCA).
