obicoolnino: Not anymore. It stopped as far back as 2016, with the introduction of MRI scan test by CAF and FIFA. Have you seen these guys play recently? They are secondary school boys, reason they got bamboozled by their bigger opponents, recently. You may recall that many players in the age-grade categories (under 17, 21, etc), including Nigerian players, have continued to be disqualified after they had failed the test. One country was entirely disqualified from a recent age grade tournament in Africa. Those days of cheating in age-grade tournaments are gone! 2 Likes |

There is no such thing as "an easy draw" in age grade competitions especially under 17. This are young chaps who can spring surprises depending on the facilities and the devt. plans of the FA. Anyways all the best to the golden eaglets. 1 Like |

It's actually an easy draw when compared to other groups. Though there are usually surprises at this u17 level. Happy to see the players are apparently looking like u17's. Hope they won't just stop at this level but go on to become World stars in future. |
