Dialing this short code takes you to a menu announcing to you that "you are eligible for 5000 naira", prompting you to provide your BVN and account number details. Can anyone verify the authenticity of this? Sounds too good to be true.

That code is a means of borrowing money from one of those apps I don't know the exact one. Make una read on their terms and conditions before una go cry come here say "I made a mistake help me rectify it" grin grin

You can try it with a Sim that is not link to your account, give any number as your bvn just to see where it leads to.

I just tried it with my lol line that is not link to my account.
