Hello, please I'm trying to save 20k on a savings app and their interest is 15 percent per annum but the issue here is I need to know how to calculate the interest

20k x (15/100) = 3k (interest)


So you get back 23k

To be more simplicit, like in a more simple way on how to get a percentage on a specific figure

Just share 100 amongst the figures

For instance you share 100 between #20,000, then you know each 1k represents 5, then 5 multiply by 20 you get 100

Since you are looking at 15%,then you take 3k (1k +1k+1k=3k) which represents 15%, then you add it to the initial capital (20k) which gives you 23k all together per annum
